Great White Vinyl Records

Great White was an American hard rock band formed in 1973 by guitarist and singer Jack Russell. The band's sound was characterized by Russell's powerful vocals, guitarists Michael Lardie and Mark Kendall's dual lead guitar work, and the rhythm section of bassist Tony Montana and drummer Matthew Thomson. Their music often featured catchy hooks, memorable choruses, and a mix of heavy riffs and melodic ballads.

Great White achieved significant success in the 1980s with hits like "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" and "Rock Me." The band's self-titled debut album was released in 1984 to moderate success, but it was their second album, "Shot of Love," that brought them mainstream attention. The album featured the hit single "Save Your Love," which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Throughout their career, Great White has undergone several lineup changes, with Russell being the only constant member. Despite these changes, the band continued to release new music and tour extensively, building a loyal fan base along the way. Although they may not have achieved the same level of success as some of their 80s hard rock peers, Great White remains an important part of that era's musical landscape, with a legacy that continues to inspire new generations of rock fans.
