Paramore is an American rock band formed in Franklin, Tennessee, in 2004. The group's original lineup consisted of Hayley Williams (lead vocals), Josh Farro (guitar and backing vocals), Jeremy Davis (bass guitar), and Zac Farro (drums). Over the years, the band has undergone some lineup changes, with Taylor York joining as lead guitarist in 2007. Paramore's music style is a blend of emo, pop punk, and alternative rock. They have released seven studio albums to date: "All We Know is Falling" (2005), "Riot!" (2007), "Brand New Eyes" (2009), "Paramore" (2013), "After Laughter" (2017), and their latest self-titled album in 2020. The band has gained a reputation for crafting catchy, anthemic songs with lyrics that often focus on themes of love, relationships, and self-discovery. Throughout their career, Paramore has received numerous accolades, including several Grammy nominations. They have also toured extensively and performed at various music festivals, such as the Warped Tour and the Reading and Leeds Festivals.
