Formed in 1976, April Wine was a Canadian rock band that achieved significant success throughout their career. With a distinctive blend of hard rock, pop, and new wave sounds, the group gained popularity across North America and internationally. At the height of their fame, they were one of Canada's top touring acts, with hits like "Just Between You and Me" and "Crime Doesn't Pay."

April Wine's most successful album was 1981's Fashion Fools, which included the hit singles "Just Between You and Me" and "Say Hello." The band continued to release music throughout the 1980s, with varying degrees of commercial success. Despite their ups and downs, April Wine maintained a loyal fan base and remained a beloved Canadian rock institution.

After a hiatus in the early 1990s, April Wine reformed and began touring again. They released new material sporadically over the years, but their focus shifted to live performances. The band's final album was Back to the Drive, released in 2001. Since then, April Wine has continued to tour and perform, with lead singer Myles Goodwyn remaining a driving force behind the group's legacy.
