Immortal Vinyl Records: The Legendary Norwegian Black Metal Band
Formed in 1989 by Abbath (vocals), Demonaz (guitar) and Horgh (drums), Immortal was one of the pioneering bands of the Norwegian black metal scene. Their early work, such as their debut album "Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism", showcased a raw and intense sound that would influence many other bands to follow.
Throughout their career, Immortal has been known for their dark and atmospheric lyrics, often exploring themes of mythology, fantasy and the occult. Their music is characterized by Abbath's distinctive vocals and the band's ability to create a sense of tension and release through their use of melody and rhythm.
In 2000, following the departure of Demonaz, Immortal continued as a trio with Horgh taking over guitar duties. This lineup change had no significant impact on the band's sound or direction, and they continued to produce critically acclaimed albums such as "At the Heart of Winter" and "All Shall Fall". Despite some hiatuses and lineup changes over the years, Immortal remains one of the most respected and beloved black metal bands in the world.
