MGMT Vinyl Records

MGMT is an American indie rock band from Middletown, Connecticut, formed in 2002. The band consists of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser, who met while attending Middlebury College. Their music often incorporates elements of psychedelia, new wave, and shoegaze, with lyrics that explore themes of existential crisis, technology-induced isolation, and the human condition.

MGMT's breakthrough album, Oracular Spectacular, was released in 2007 to critical acclaim. The album's lead single, "Time to Pretend," became a hit and helped establish the band as a major force in the indie rock scene. Subsequent albums, including Congratulations (2010) and MGMT (2013), have continued to showcase the duo's unique blend of catchy hooks, introspective lyrics, and genre-bending sound.

In addition to their music, MGMT has also gained recognition for their visually striking music videos and live performances. The band's 2010 single "Flash Delirium" was accompanied by a surreal and psychedelic video that showcased the duo's creative vision.
