Alexisonfire is a Canadian post-hardcore band from St. Catharines, Ontario, formed in 2001. The band's original lineup consisted of George Pettit (vocals), Wade MacNeil (guitar and vocals), John Whysall (guitar), Chris Steele-Allen (bass), and Jesse Smith (drums). Known for their intense live performances and emotional lyrics, Alexisonfire has built a dedicated fan base worldwide.

After releasing their debut album, Watch Out!, in 2004, the band gained significant attention within the post-hardcore scene. Their subsequent albums, including Sophomore Slump (2006), New West (2009), and This Is Darkness (2010), showcased their growth as musicians and songwriters. Alexisonfire's unique blend of screaming vocals, catchy melodies, and poignant lyrics has earned them critical acclaim and a loyal following.

In 2011, the band announced an indefinite hiatus, but in 2022, they reunited to celebrate their 20th anniversary and performed at several festivals.
