Andrews Sisters Vinyl Records

The Andrews Sisters were an American close harmony vocal group during the swing and boogie-woogie eras of the 1930s, '40s, and '50s. The trio consisted of three sisters: LaVerne Sophia Andrews (July 6, 1911 - May 8, 1969), Maxene Angelyn Andrews (January 3, 1916 - October 21, 1995), and Patricia Marie "Patty" Andrews (born February 16, 1918).

The sisters began their music career performing on local radio stations in Minnesota and later moved to Los Angeles where they started singing at various clubs and bars. In the early 1930s, they formed a close harmony group with their friend, Nellie Ingram, but LaVerne took over as lead vocalist after Ingram's departure. The trio gained popularity with their unique blend of jazz, blues, country, and pop music.

The Andrews Sisters' most famous hits include "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree (With Anyone Else But Me)", "Rum and Coca-Cola", "Beatles Medley", and "White Christmas", among many others. Their harmonious voices and charming performances earned them numerous awards and accolades, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001.
