Candlemass is a Swedish heavy metal band formed in 1987 by bassist and primary songwriter Leif Edling. The band's unique blend of doom metal, power metal, and epic heavy metal has captivated audiences worldwide. With their powerful vocals, crushing riffs, and symphonic elements, Candlemass has carved out a distinctive sound that sets them apart from other bands in the genre. Throughout their career, Candlemass has released several critically acclaimed albums, including "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" (1987), "Nightfall" (1990), and "Chapter V: Nightmare Dance" (2003).
