Carcass Vinyl Records

Formed in 1985, Carcass was a pioneering grindcore and death metal band from England that pushed the boundaries of heavy music with their technical prowess and socially conscious lyrics. With a career spanning over two decades, the band released six full-length albums, including the influential "Heartwork" and "Swansong", before disbanding in 1996.

Their unique blend of aggressive riffs, complex song structures, and growling vocals helped to define the sound of extreme metal in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Carcass's music addressed topics such as animal rights, environmental degradation, and social injustice, earning them a reputation as one of the most cerebral and socially aware bands in the genre.

After their initial disbandment, guitarist Jan "Hollywood" Hunter went on to form the band Evilstar, while vocalist Jeff Walker formed the band Brujeria with other notable metal musicians. In 2013, Carcass announced a reunion and has since released two new albums, including the critically acclaimed "Surgical Steel", solidifying their status as one of the most influential and respected bands in the history of extreme metal.
