Crowded House was an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 1985 by Neil Finn and Paul Hester. The band's music style blended elements of power pop, rock, and folk, with witty, introspective lyrics that often explored themes of love, relationships, and social commentary. With their debut album "Words Get in the Way" (1986), Crowded House gained a following in Australia and eventually made their way to international success.

The band's breakthrough album "Temple of Low Men" (1988) featured hit singles like "Never Said" and "Fall at Your Feet", which showcased Neil Finn's soaring vocals and catchy songwriting. The album received widespread critical acclaim, establishing Crowded House as a major force in the music industry. Over the years, the band released several more albums, exploring different sounds and styles while maintaining their signature blend of humor and heart.

In 1996, Paul Hester left the band, and Neil Finn continued to record and perform under the Crowded House name. The album "Intriguer" (2010) marked a successful reunion with guitarist Mark Hart, who had been part of the band's early years. Although they disbanded in 1999, Crowded House's legacy as one of the most beloved and enduring bands of their era remains strong, with their music continuing to inspire new generations of fans.
