Falco's breakthrough came with his debut single "Der Komissar" in 1981, a song that became an instant hit across Europe. His subsequent albums, including "Falco 3" and "Emotional", further cemented his reputation as a talented and innovative artist. Falco's music often dealt with themes of love, politics, and social commentary, showcasing his poetic lyrics and distinctive vocal style.
In the early 1990s, Falco's popularity began to wane, but he continued to release music until his untimely death in a car accident on February 6, 1998.
