Halestorm is an American rock band from Red Lion, Pennsylvania, formed in 1997. The band consists of lead vocalist Lzzy Hale and her guitarist sister Arejay Hale, along with Josh Smith on guitar, Joe Hottinger on bass, and Casey Grubbs on drums.
Their self-titled debut album, "Halestorm", was released in 2009 to moderate success. However, it was their second album "The Strange Case Of..." (2012) that gained them mainstream attention, featuring hit singles like "Freak Like Me" and "Love Bites (So Do I)". The band's third studio album "Into the Wild Life" (2015) saw a further evolution in their sound, with a more experimental approach.
In 2018, Halestorm released their fourth studio album "Vicious", which featured a mix of heavy rock and melodic tracks. Throughout their career, the band has been praised for Lzzy's powerful vocals, as well as their energetic live performances, earning them a loyal fan base worldwide.
