MewithoutYou is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in 2001. The band's music is characterized by its introspective and often deeply personal lyrics, combined with a unique blend of folk, rock, and post-hardcore sounds.
The band's most successful album to date is their fourth studio effort, It's All Coming Together, released in 2006. The album spawned the hit single "In Excess" and received critical acclaim from publications such as Paste Magazine and Alternative Press. MewithoutYou has also been praised for their intense and emotive live performances, which have drawn comparisons to bands like Arcade Fire and Modest Mouse.
In 2018, the band released their sixth studio album, Trial & Error, which marked a return to their earlier sound and featured the singles "Goodbye, I'm Leaving" and "Troubled Times".
