Michael Monroe, born Matti Flander in 1960, is a Finnish rock musician best known for his work as the lead vocalist of the band Hanoi Rocks. With a career spanning over four decades, Monroe has been instrumental in shaping the sound of modern rock music.
As the frontman of Hanoi Rocks, Monroe brought a unique blend of punk energy and glam rock swagger to the table, earning the band a loyal following worldwide. His distinctive voice and charismatic stage presence have made him one of the most recognizable figures in rock music. Outside of his work with Hanoi Rocks, Monroe has also released several successful solo albums, exploring different musical styles and collaborating with other artists.
