Michael Schenker is a German rock guitarist and composer best known for his work with Scorpions, UFO, and the Michael Schenker Group (MSG). Born on January 24, 1945, in Sarstedt, Germany, Schenker's musical journey began at an early age. He started playing guitar at 11 years old and was heavily influenced by rock legends like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page.

Schenker's breakthrough came when he joined the Scorpions in 1969, bringing his unique guitar style to the band. His work with the Scorpions earned him critical acclaim, but it was his departure from the band and formation of MSG that truly showcased his talents as a guitarist and composer. With MSG, Schenker released several successful albums, including "The Michael Schenker Group" (1980) and "Assault Attack" (1982), which featured hits like "Attack of the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" and "Natural Thing."

In addition to his work with Scorpions and MSG, Schenker has collaborated with numerous notable artists, including Ian Gillan, Gary Moore, and Yngwie Malmsteen.
