Napalm Death is a British grindcore band formed in 1981 by vocalist Barney Greenway and bassist Jeff Walker. The group's early work was characterized by its intense, fast-paced sound and socially conscious lyrics, which addressed topics such as politics, war, and social inequality. Their debut album, "Scum", released in 1987, is widely regarded as a landmark of the grindcore genre.
