Thompson Twins Vinyl Records

The Thompson Twins were an English new wave and synth-pop band formed in 1977 in London, England. The group consisted of Tom Bailey (vocals, guitar) and his then-girlfriend Alannah Currie (vocals). They are known for their catchy pop songs, distinctive vocal harmonies, and innovative use of synthesizers.

The Thompson Twins released several successful albums throughout the 1980s, including "Settle for a Nice Single" (1979), "The Thompson Twins" (1981), "Quick Step" (1983), and "Here's to the Night" (1991). Their biggest hits include "Hold Me Now", "If You Were Here", "You Kill the Dream", and "Doctor! Doctor!". The band was a staple of 80s pop culture, performing at numerous music festivals and touring extensively.

After Alannah Currie left the group in the early 1990s, Tom Bailey continued to release music under the Thompson Twins name. Although they never achieved the same level of commercial success as they did during their peak in the 1980s, the Thompson Twins remain a beloved and influential act in the world of new wave and synth-pop.
