Urian Heep

Urian Heep is an English rock band formed in London in 1969. The band's early years were marked by a series of lineup changes, with guitarist Mick Box being the sole constant member. Their debut album, "Very 'Eavy Very 'Obble' Live," was released in 1972 and featured a mix of progressive rock and heavy metal.

In the mid-1970s, Urian Heep's sound evolved to incorporate more symphonic elements, with keyboardist Gary Thain and vocalist John Lawton playing key roles. The album "Spare Change" (1977) is often cited as one of their best works, showcasing the band's ability to craft complex songs with catchy melodies.

Urian Heep has continued to release music over the years, although with varying degrees of success. Their most recent albums have seen a return to their heavy metal roots, with the 2011 album "Into the Night" featuring guest appearances from Ronnie James Dio and other notable rock musicians. Throughout their career, Urian Heep has maintained a loyal fan base and remains an influential force in the world of hard rock.
